     How to send a System Profiler Report

Note: Follow along with these instructions on your computer. The pictures you see on this website are just photos of the steps you should take on your own Mac.

Step 1: Click on the Apple in the upper left-hand corner of your screen. Select "About This Mac."

Step 2: Click on "More Info..." in the window that appears.

Step 3: System Profiler will open, and you'll see this window.

Step 4: Click on the "File" menu and select "Save As..."

Step 5: Select Desktop from the pull-down menu, and click Save.

Step 6: Attach the file to an email to Mick's Macs. (contact@micksmacs.com) Use whatever method you usually use to attatch files; Whether you're using Apple's mail, Gmail, Yahoo, Cox, or any other webmail, use the process you always use to attatch a file to an email.

Congratulations! You have now sent Mick's Macs a System Profiler Report. This will help us know what your computer's capabilities, and system specs are.
